Griffin Meyer, from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, attended University School, where he was named First Team All-State twice and News Herald Player of the Year. His collegiate journey began at Denver University, where he made 41 appearances, scored 4 goals, and provided 4 assists. He led them to 3 Summit League championships and 3 NCAA tournament appearances, making the Summit League All-Tournament Team in 2022. In 2023, he moved to Johns Hopkins University, making 18 appearances, scoring 13 goals, and providing 2 assists. He was named Second Team United Soccer Coaches All-Region, First Team All-Centennial Conference, First Team CSC Academic All-American, and First Team CSC Academic All-District. Griffin spent time with Cleveland SC in 2021, making 4 appearances with 1 goal, and has returned to Cleveland SC for the 2024 season.
