Nico Romero is a forward who competes at the University of the Cumberlands.

As a sophomore in 2025, Romero was named MSC Second Team All-Conference as well as MSC Academic All-Conference. He appeared in 18 matches with 10 starts, logging 810 minutes. During the season, he recorded four goals and one assist for nine total points, including two game-winning goals. He tallied 21 shots, placing 11 on target.

Cumberlands capped off a strong season with a trip to the NAIA National Tournament Semifinals, marking Romero’s first appearance at that stage.

Nico Romero will make his NPSL debut in the 2026 season for Cleveland SC in the attacking half.
