Head Coach
Joe Jovanovski enters his third season as Head Coach of Cleveland SC, continuing to build the club into a competitive force within the Great Lakes Conference. After guiding Cleveland SC to a 6-2-4 record and a second-place conference finish during his first season with the club, Jovanovski narrowly missed the playoffs in 2025 as CSC finished with a 5-2-3 record.
In addition to his role with Cleveland SC, Jovanovski is entering his fourth season as assistant coach and recruitment coordinator for the men’s soccer program at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. He is also currently a staff coach with Manta United, continuing his work in developing high-level talent in Northeast Ohio.
Prior to Manta United, Jovanovski spent several years with North FC, where he led the 2005 Girls to an NPL National Championship in 2022 and guided the 2009 Girls to a National Finals appearance in the 2023 US Club National Cup.
Jovanovski previously served as head coach at Lutheran West High School, where he led the program to a 12-6 record during the 2022–2023 season. His efforts earned him both the Greater Cleveland Private School Coach of the Year and OSSCA Private School Coach of the Year honors.
At the collegiate level, Jovanovski was an assistant coach at Tiffin University during the 2021–2022 season. He also played collegiately at Tiffin, where he helped the program reach three NCAA Tournament appearances, along with two GLIAC Tournament Championships and two regular season titles.
A graduate of Elyria Catholic High School, Jovanovski was a four-year starter and earned multiple Greater Cleveland, conference, and Lorain County honors during his playing career.
