Born in Bay Village, Reid Ayers has a deep connection to the Cleveland area, and his passion for soccer has led him to become one of the most successful coaches in Ohio.

Since taking over as Head Men's Soccer Coach at Baldwin Wallace University in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) in 2002. Ayers is a 2-time OAC Coach of the Year and has been inducted into the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Hall of Fame for his contributions to the sport and positive impact on the improvement, and advancement of intercollegiate soccer in Ohio. Under Ayers' leadership, Baldwin Wallace has won more than 300 matches and is the most successful coach in the 53-year history of the men's soccer program.

As an assistant coach of Cleveland SC since 2020 under former Head Coach Lewis Dunne, Ayers brings his wealth of experience and knowledge to the club. Cleveland SC is fortunate to have a coach of Ayers' caliber as part of its staff.
