A Cleveland-area product from Twinsburg, Ohio, Uleto Fuentes enters his first season on the Cleveland SC coaching staff after previously competing for the club as a defender during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. A homegrown talent within the organization, Fuentes brings a strong understanding of the club’s culture, standards, and identity as he transitions from player to coach.

Fuentes appeared in 18 matches for Cleveland SC, making 18 starts while logging more than 1,500 minutes across his time with the club. Along with leading the back line, he also contributed four assists during his playing career with CSC after making his debut on May 18, 2024.

Having played under Head Coach Joe Jovanovski, Fuentes enters the coaching staff with firsthand knowledge of the team’s system and expectations. His experience within the club provides valuable continuity as Cleveland SC continues to develop both local talent and a strong competitive culture.

Prior to joining Cleveland SC, Fuentes starred at Twinsburg High School, where he earned Second-Team All-Ohio honors along with multiple league and regional accolades. He began his collegiate career at Gardner-Webb University, appearing in 11 matches during the 2023 season before transferring to Wright State University in 2024. At Wright State, he made 16 appearances and recorded an assist during the season.

Now returning to Cleveland SC in a new role, Fuentes represents the next generation of leadership within the club, continuing his connection to the organization while helping mentor and develop players throughout the program.
