Gio Petoussis is a midfielder from Limassol, Cyprus, who competes for Wright State University.

Petoussis developed through the academy system of Apollon FC Limassol, progressing from the U13 level through the club's youth ranks. He captained the U19 side and most recently competed with the U21 squad while also training with Apollon's professional team.

In the 2024 season at Wright State, Petoussis appeared in 10 matches with three starts, recording one goal and one assist while logging 264 minutes.

During the 2026 season, Petoussis joined the Dayton Dutch Lions, where he appeared in three matches and logged 148 minutes before making the move to Cleveland SC.

Petoussis joins Cleveland SC for the remainder of the 2026 season, adding depth and experience to the midfield.
