Rafa De La Barrera is a midfielder from Cleveland, Ohio, and a graduate of Saint Ignatius High School.

During his time with the Wildcats, De La Barrera helped lead Saint Ignatius to three Division I state championships while earning Greater Cleveland First Team honors twice and serving as senior captain. He was also recognized with the Suscipe Capstone Project Optimus Award.

At the club level, De La Barrera competed for Spire FC before continuing his collegiate career at John Carroll University.

In the 2025 season, De La Barrera appeared in 16 matches with 15 starts for the Blue Streaks, recording one goal and one assist while logging 1,274 minutes in the midfield.

De La Barrera joins Cleveland SC for the 2026 season.
